| Casa de Charles is a large holiday house in the Las Manchas area in the central part of the western side of La Palma. It is close to the Cumbre Vieja national park with many walking paths reachable from just behind the house. The area of the house is 195M² and is suitable for up to 11 adults and 2 babies. The house is surrounded with 1500 meters of private land which includes a garden, a small orchard, a garden house with bbq and dining table and a sheltered terrace. There is space for children to play. The ground floor is a large garage and storage area for sunloungers, parasols, tables and chairs and a bathroom for those returning from the beach, hiking, mountain biking or other outdoors activities. |  |
| From the living room you have a view over the Valle de Aridane (Aridane valley), the Atlantic Ocean and towards viewpoint El Time. The sofas and chairs in the living room seat 12 persons. There is SAT-TV, a DVD-player, stereo unit, a desk and book shelves with books. | ||||||||

| The kitchen | ||||||||
 |  | The kitchen is spacious and modern. It has a large fridge-freezer, microwave, electric oven, stove with two gas and two electrical hobs, dishwasher, rapid boil electric kettle, a 4-slice toaster and a wide assortment of cutlery. The dining table and breakfast bar seat 11 adults. From the kitchen you have a view over the garden. The door opens onto the balcony. | ||||||

| The bedrooms | ||||||||
 |  | Casa de Charles has 4 bed rooms. Each room contains two single beds (2m by 90cm) and wardrobes. The beds have excellent matrasses. There are 2 memory foam overlay mattresses, each 2.0 metres long by 0.9 metres wide. These are excellent for people with bad backs. | ||||||
 |  | Join 2 beds together to make a king size bed. There is plenty of space in the wardrobes for clothing. Bedlinen, pillows, blankets, duvets and bedspreads are provided. The lounge sleeps 3 persons on sofabeds. |

 |  | Casa de Charles has 2 bathrooms with bathtub, shower, washbasin and toilet and there is a seperate toilet. There is sufficient hot water. Please bring your own towels. | ||||||
| The area. Casa de Charles stands at the edge of a nature reserve. Walking paths start directly from the house. The area is peaceful and quiet, and the big advantage of this location is that the Caldera with its info center, the volcano-route, beautiful nature, shops, restaurants and several beaches are within easy reach by car. The small towns of El Paso and Los Llanos de Aridane are 10 minutes drive away. There you'll find many shops and restaurants and several large supermarkets. The sandy beaches of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte are about a 10 minute drive away. 2 small grocery shops and 2 restaurants are at walking distance from Casa the Charles. |
